	Mycket inspirerande bok, berör den första eviga frågan, "var kommer vi ifrån" eller hur var vår familj. Varför är vi vad vi är. Hur påverkade oss våra familjer.	Very inspiring book, touches the first ethernal questions, "where do we come from" or how was our family. Why are we what we are. How did our families influenced us.

in my family there were a few "bad pebbles" which occured some time ago.	Livshändelser skapar krusningar som sprids genom flera generationer. En dramatisk händelse några generationer tidigare kan påverka oss idag. När jag läser boken letar jag efter de betydande "livsstenarna"	Life events create ripples which spread throug several generations. A dramatic event a few generations before may influence us today. Reading the book I look for the significant "life pebbles"

Brideshead Revisited	Boken läses parallellt med den dagliga tittandet på Brideshead Revisited, tredje gången.	The book is read in parallel with the daily watching of Brideshead Revisited, the third time.
my reference	Den andra omedelbara referensen är mitt liv i Sao Tome, Afrika men med många likheter med Dominica. (Egentligen, när jag accepterade erbjudandet var jag intryckt att jag ska till Saint Thomas i Karibien.	The second immediate reference is my life on Sao Tome, Africa but with many similarities to Dominica. (Actually, when I was accepting the offer I was under impression that I am going  to Saint Thomas in Caribbean.
	Jag är mycket intresserad av många aspekter av livet för de två huvudpersonerna, mycket nyfiken på att veta mer, många frågor. Jag fick inte många svar men jag skulle vilja veta mer, särskilt efter att ha bekantat mig med händelserna, men varför blev det så?, varför gick det så här?.	I am very interested in many aspects of life to the two main protagonists, very curious to know more, many questions. I did not get many answers but i would like to know more, especially after being acquainted with the events, but why so, why did it go this way.
	Boken är en dokumentation av det liv två familjer förenade i äktenskapet mellan Inge (dansk familj) och Erland (svensk familj). Perspektivet är helt klart från den  "danska sidan".	The book is a documentation of the life two families united in the marriage between Inge (Danish family) and Erland (Swedish Family). The perspective is clearly from the "Danish side".
electronic format gives chance to improve	Det skulle vara fördelaktigt att ha en sådan bok i ett elektroniskt format eftersom man kunde markera den saknade delen, hänvisa till personen, namn som används i brev och som ofta inte är relaterade till berättelsen, breven följer inte tidssekvensen inte heller händelsernas inneboende logik. Brevet är vittnesbörd om det emotionella tillståndet hos de personer som skrev dem.	It would be advantageous to have such a book in an electronic format as one could mark the missing part, give reference to the person, names used in the letter and which are often not related to the narration, the letters do not follow the time sequence neither the intrinsic logic of events. The letters are the testimonies of the emotional state of the person who wrote them.
	Inges brev på något sätt är stela och inte svämmar över med känslor vad som kanske kännetecknar huvudpersonen Inge.	Inges letters are somehow terse and do not overflow with emotions what is the characteristic of the main person Inge.

	Kapitel 4, intermezzo Inge och Erland finns där, missade jag något, hur mötte huvudpersonerna? Kommer det som en framtida retrospektion? Kapitel 1 har några tips men beskrivningen bör upprepas eftersom det är en biograf inte en roman.	Chapter 4, intermezzo Inge and Erland are there, did I miss something, how did the main protagonists meet? Will it come as future retrospection? Chapter 1 has some hints but the description should be repeated as it is a biography not a novel.
	in 1952 fick Inge ett nervöst sammanbrott, blev inlagd på sjukhus, gick hon psykoterapi som var mycket populär i överklassen i Wien.	In 1952 Inge had a nervous breakdown, is hospitalized, did she attended psychotherapy which was very popular in the upper class in Vienna.
Should we guess?	Inge 17 år och båtturen med praktikanterna, vad har hänt? Ska vi gissa? Det ser ut at författern  uppmanar till en gissning	Inge 17 year and the boat ride with the trainees, what has happened? Should we guess? it seems the author suggest to guess.

	Vissa scener är rekonstruktion, förmodligen baserade på personernas karaktär eftersom författaren inte kunde vara närvarande, detta tillvägagångssätt är legitimt men mer öppet spekulativt approachkund vara till hjälp. Ett avstånd till huvudpersonerna kan vara användbart, mer beskrivande, mindre rekonstruktioner av dialoger som ger intryck av en roman inte en biografi.	Some scenes are reconstruction, probably based on character of the persons as the author couldn't be present, this approach is legitimate but more openly speculative mode could be helpful. A distance to the protagonists could be helpful, more descriptive, less reconstructions of dialogs which give impressions of a novel not a biography.
	Den mellersta delen av boken innehåller kopior av korrespondensen som är bra som bakgrundsinformation men svår att placera i samband med handlingar från huvudaktörerna och logistik.	The middle part of the book contains copies of the correspondence which are good as background information but difficult to place in the context of actions of the main actors and logistics.
	Huvudpersonerna agerar i ett tillstånd som sätter extremt hög känslomässig press på de. En exceptionell grad av självförnekelse behövs för att hantera den främmande miljön och den inre spänningen mellan förväntningar och verkligheten, drömmarna och verkligheten, illusionerna om varandra och självbedrägeri. (Brideheads Revisited projiceras på "Madam is back".)	The main persons act in a condition which put extremely high emotional press. An exceptional degree of self-denial is needed to cope with the foreign environment and internal tension between expectations and the reality, the dreams and the reality, the illusions about each other and self-deception. (Brideshead Revisited is being projected on the "Madam is back".)
	Skulle boken vara i elektronisk form kan den "fyllas på" i de områden som saknas. Familjerna är mycket intressanta, deras liv gör att du vill engagera dig i deras motivationer, deras behov och förstå krafterna som driver dem. Projicerar de sina djupa känslomässiga behov på händelser och personer som de mötter and interact med. Nu tittar vi på serien "The white lotus" (exceptionellt bra serier) samma intryck, personerna kommunicerar inte med personer de agere med utan med fantasin om de personer de interagerar med, de vill inte umgås med de riktiga människorna vill inte ens veta vilka personerna de är.	Would the book be in the electronic form it could be "refilled" in the areas which are missing. The families are very interesting, their life make you want to engage in their motivations, their needs and understand the forces which drive them. Do they project their deep emotional needs on the events and persons encountered. Now we are watching the series "The white lotus" (exceptionally good series) the same impressions, the persons do not communicate with the counterparts but with the imagination of the persons they interact with, they don't want to engage with the real people not even want to know who the persons are.
	Spännande huvudpersoner, spännande människor, spännande händelser jag vill veta mer. Normalt försöker en biografi föra läsaren närmare personerna i fråga.	Exiting protagonists, exiting people, exiting events but I want to know more. Normally a biography tries to bring the reader closer to the persons in question.
here is my key question	Inge och Erland skapade mycket uppståndelse när de "katapulterade" sig i den stora världen, borta från de "frustrerade" egna förälderfamiljerna med en dramatisk historia, åtminstone i familjen Erlands. Den intressanta återverkningen (krusningarna) märks säkert i följande generationen av barn till Inge och Erland. Jag antar att barnen till Inge och Erland är som barn av Lady Marchmain och Lord Marchmain, (Brideshead Revisited) de känner och agerar utan att veta vad som driver de och vad är orsakerna. Sebastian är bara demotiverad och deprimerad, det finns inget traumatiskt i hans liv men "krusningarna" påverkar honom.	Inge and Erland created a lot of commotion "launching" themselves into the big world, away from the "frustrated" own parent families with a dramatic history, at least in Erland's family. The interesting repercussion (ripples) are surely felt in the generation of children of Inge and Erland. I assume, the children of Inge and Erland are like children of the Lady Marchmain and Lord Marchmain, (Brideshead Revisited) they feel and act not knowing what are the reasons. Sebastian is just demotivated and depressed, there is nothing traumatic in his life but the "ripples" affect him.
